The fingertips of the people have different shapes. Every shape has its meaning. In the book “Ma Yi Shen Xiang”, the author has made four classifications of the fingertips.

1. The square fingertip : the shape of the finger is flat and the shape of the tip is square. This kind of fingertip represents conservative temperament. The owner will carry out the task step by step.

2. The flat fingertip : the shape of the finger tends to be flat. It becomes wider near the tip of the finger. It is just like to be extruded. This kind of fingertip represents the outgoing character. He or she is vigorous and creative.

3. The pointed fingertip : The finger is slender. The fingertip has the steeple. This kind of fingertip represents the owner is the dreamer. He or she is idealistic.

4. The oval fingertip : The fingertip is oval. This kind of people likes to depend on intuition to carry out the task. His temperament is often changing.

The palms of the majority of people have more than two types of the fingertip. If the owner has more square fingertips, he or she will be pragmatic. If the owner has more pointed fingertips, he or she will be the dreamer. If the owner has more oval fingertips, he or she will be impatient. If the owner has more flat fingertips, he or she is active.

The key to observing the fingertip is finding out what kind of the category of the major fingertips and analyzing them. If every fingertip have different shapes, it means the character of the owner is complicated.
