From the palm bone to the finger bone, the school of palmistry has differentiated the palms to “palms of five elements”. It respectively corresponded to the five kinds of character.
1. Palm of Mental element
It is also called the practical palm or the competent palm. With this kind of palm, the owner will be very pragmatic. He or she is not in vanity and has strong will-power. He or she is keeping their noses clean and can have a long life. However, the disadvantage is having a stubborn character. Sometimes, he or she is stingy.
2. Palm of Wood element
It is also called a philosophical hand or intellectual hand. With this kind of hand, the owner will have high intelligence. He or she is studious, forbearance, and generous. He or she is rational. When encountering the difficulties, he or she will not be discouraged. However, he or she is more concerned about gossip.
3. Palm of Water element
It is also called the emotional hand or the art hand. With this kind of hand, the owner will have high intelligence. He or she is optimistic and compassionate. He or she is lively and has multi-talents. However, he or she is in vanity and sleek. Sometimes, he or she is too indifferent and do something anticlimactic.
4. Palm of Fire element
It is also called the spiritual hand or idealistic hand. With this kind of hand, the appearance of the owner is gentle and quiet. However, he or she is impatient and irritable and love depending on others. He or she tends to be capricious and luxurious. Sometimes, he or she is comparatively easy to believe in others.
5. Palm of Earth element
It is also called a primitive hand or labor hand. With this kind of hand, the owner is loyal and reliable. However, when facing love affairs, he or she is very clumsy.
