The different regions of the palm can show the different aspects of the personality of human beings. From the dividing of the form, it will have three types:
(1) Binary regionally-dividing method: Taking the middle finger and the ring finger as the boundary to divide it into two parts.
The part of the thumb, index finger, and middle finger represent the conscious aspect of the human being. It represents one’s attitude to the world.
The part of the ring finger and the little finger represents the subconscious aspects of the human being. It represents one’s attitude to the soul.
(2) Triple regionally-dividing method: It includes the feeling part (the upper part), the part of the practical use (the middle part), the physiological part (the bottom part).
The feeling part is related to the ambition and the ideal. If this part is the most prominent part among the three regions, it implies that the owner is rational towards the views of the world.
The physiological part includes the physiological desire of the human being. If this part is the most prominent, it implies that the owner is extremely emotional.
The part of practical use is between those two parts. We can check how to balance the difference of the ratio and the emotion from the degree of the prominence of the parts.
(3) Diagonally regional-dividing method: It includes the mentally rational zone, the mental instinct zone, the physiological utility zone, and the physiological intuition zone.
If the mentally rational zone is weak, the owner will lack self-confidence. If this zone is strong, the owner is ambitious.
If the mental instinct zone is strong, the owner loves publicizing. If this zone is weak, the owner focuses on how to make self-realization.
If the physiological utility zone is weak, the owner lacks passion and vitality. If this zone is strong, the owner will regard material desire as motivation. If this zone is extremely strong, the owner will emphases on the satisfaction of the material too much.
If the physiological intuition zone is weak, the owner tends to be rational. If this zone is strong, the owner is sensitive. He or she has the spiritual pursuit.
