Mounts are the protruded portions which like mountains around the palm. There are nine mounts in the palm of human being. They represent different perspectives of the personality of the human being. They are listed as below:

• Jupiter mount (under the index finger, represents power and are motivated)

If this part is protruded, it represents you are vigorous. If this part is broadly protruded, you are good at social intercourse. You are generous.

• Saturn mount (under the middle finger, represents the sense of the responsibility)

If it is slightly protruded, it represents the owner loves knowledge and philosophy. He or she can win the reputation with that. However, it is too protruded, it represents the owner is pessimistic and he or she will escape the world.

• Lower Mars mount (the folded area of the thumb, between the Venus mount and Jupiter mount, represents courage and spirit)

If it is flat, it represents the owner is timid. If it is too protruded, the owner will be very cruel.

• Venus mount (it is surrounded by the life line. It settles on the phalanx of the third knuckle of the thumb. It is the most protruded mount in the palm. It represents the passion of the life and the learning power.)

If it is flat, the owner will be weak physically. It is comparatively protruded, the temperament of the owner will be mild. If it is too protruded, his or her sexual drive will be large.

• Ketu mount (It is between the Venus mount and the Luna mount. It is the region that connect the conscious region and the subconscious region)

If it is moderately protruded, the owner will have the sensitive insight. If it is flat, the owner will be lack of introspection ability.

• Sun mount (It is under the third finger. It represents the creativity and the art taste.)

If it is flat, the owner will have no interest in art. If this mount is protruded, the owner will have good art taste and talent in art. It this mount is too protruded, the owner will be conceited.

• Mercury mount (It is under the little finger. It represents the ideal, witty and fortune.)

If it is flat, the owner will be cool. If it is protruded, the owner can embrace others. If it is too protruded, the owner will be annoying.

• Upper Mars mount (It is between the Luna mount and the mercury mount. It represents the owners is upright. He or she will have moral and patience.

• Luna mount (It is under the lower Mars mount. It represents the imaginative power and the judgment.)

If it is flat, the owner will be lack of imaginative power. If this mount extends to the wrist, the owner will be spiritual. He or she will love the nature. If this mount is too protruded, the owner will be moody.
